MANUFACTURING

DREAM IT & WE’LL BUILD IT

Coda Manufacturing owns and operates two, global manufacturing facilities establishing the company as a truly vertical organization. We manufacture almost all of our own parts and work closely with a carefully vetted team of subcontractors to ensure their work matches our exacting standards and beautifully executed product delivers to our customers.

UPHOLSTERY

Our Los Angeles factory is capable of large or small scale custom upholstery, staffed with the most experienced craftsmen in the business.

CASE GOODS

Additionally, all case good work is done in-house to your specification, for a truly bespoke product in a fraction of the time.

SPECIALTY FURNITURE

Our modern Bali facilities combine the best of both manufacturing worlds. With a constant flow of containers to North America no order is too big or too small.

RECLAIMED & RECYCLED WOODS

We pride ourselves in sourcing materials from Southern California whenever possible, in order to promote a more environmentally responsible furniture product. Using local, reclaimed wood saves trees and allows more living forests to remain intact.

ARTISAN & CRAFTSMANSHIP

We value our team of artisans and respect that with the volume of custom work we are producing, each member of the team is an artist and designer in their own right.

FILLING

Our standard recommendation for the most durable and comfortable filling option is trillium. It is an eco-friendly, hypoallergenic down alternative that will outlast its down counterpart yet mimics its comfort and luxury. We stand behind all of our filling options as each is engineered specifically to ensure premium support and comfort.

We begin with a high-density foam core which is wrapped with a feather-locked ticking envelope filled with the fiber of your choice.

Trillium is a man-made, hypoallergenic product with the benefits of natural, goose down. Its buoyancy and durability prove equally luxurious and resilient and serves as the perfect down alternative.

HARDWOOD FRAMES

Our frames are made of alder wood. We use kiln-dried alder wood because of its high density. The kiln drying process extracts most of the moisture from the wood, which keeps it from warping or twisting over time. Also, kiln-dried woods are resistant to wood rot or smelly mildew issues, even when stored in humid climates.
